A Conference Special Issue

The Journal of Class and Culture is a peer reviewed journal which aims to provide a platform for an engagement with and an analysis of the intersection of class and culture. The journal publish provocative theoretical and empirical interventions into debates concerning class and culture. The editors reject and challenge the rendering of class as an archaic concept and engage with class as a dynamic category actively shaped by the changing demands of capitalism.  A selection of the papers and talks presented at Ireland’s first working-class studies conference will feature in the Journal of Class and Culture.
